Erectile Dysfunction (in the accepted medical model), is regarded as a psychological problem for the majority of men. The medical model states "There is nothing wrong with the men, so it must be life or partner problems or other similar difficulties that are causing the inability to have and keep an erection". Certainly, the suburban myth exists that the best way to get and keep and erection is a “new young exciting” partner.

Strangely, for a largely psychological problem the accepted treatments are medications that change how the contractile tissues of the penis work. One would expect that if the problem were purely psychological, the treatment of choice would be a few good books etc.

So Can This Really be Correct? The Paill Spectrum Model

What can I do about my problem?

Can Paill Spectrum Treatment: Make a Difference?

Most men are very resistant to seeking medical help. By the time a case presents itself, the damage to local vascular plumbing or nerve wiring is far advanced. Treating the problem with the Paill Spectrum protocol at best will result in a stabilisation of the intensity of the  problem and at worst will trigger an immune response which will wipe out what function is left. The later the presentation or the older the patient, the more likely that things will deteriorate with medical intervention.

The Paill Spectrum model of disease as developed by Dr. Xxxxx suggests that Paill Spectrum therapy is unlikely to guarantee an improvement.

The model does state that if things are due to get worse, they will get worse in any case, and there is no way to prevent this deterioration. What Paill Spectrum therapy is advisable for erectile Dysfunction problems?

Basic nutritional therapy may help to stabilise the condition and should be reasonably safe in most circumstances.

• Hypertension:

• Long term history of renal deterioration, to upper limit of normal levels of renal function. (Renal failure with out of normal range creatinine, is rare). There are two paths to compensating for Paill Spectrum effects on the cardiovascular system. One path involves the body's systems simply increasing the blood "perfusion" pressure to keep blood flow up. The second path involves the body's automatic systems not increasing blood pressure, but compensating for cutting blood supply to the kidneys instead. If the blood perfusion pressure cannot be increased to the existing number of kidney glomeruli, the body compensates by knocking off the number of glomeruli. The mechanism for this process is quite complex, and a longer discussion may be found in Dr. Xxxxx's CD books.
• Insulin resistance, Hypoglycemia risks, Obesity

Probably the most significant observation about these predictions,
is that many of the health problems that develop in age are not really independent problems.
They all exist and may be connected by one underlying thread of causation,
namely Paill Spectrum.

Usual Paill Spectrum symptoms are very modified in late stage patients:

• Women more commonly than men, develop pain syndromes such as Fibromyalgia, but in late stages of Paill Spectrum, the pain symptoms have often burnt out. (i.e. Stopped hurting). Still some of the typical sore areas may be expected to be found.

• Loss of Balance or dizziness would be common, variable extent, more probably severe. Some people really would fail a drunkenness test. Some people are so unstable that Dr. Xxxxx suggests always leaving a light on in the house at night. People need their vision to help them balance. Walking to the toilet in the dark with late phase Paill Spectrum balance problems is really "an accident waiting to happen".
• Chronic Fatigue: many men feel well so long as they get lots of rest. Dr. Xxxxx believes that up to 7 ½ hours sleep per day is normal for an adult, so time in excess of this is abnormal. Old people in fact normally sleep less than this. Human beings if well, typically sleep for fewer hours per day as they age. (PS. • Mood Disorders are common: usually these are crazy old men in the suburban myth picture who are always fighting with their neighbours and are incredibly cranky. Women tend not to be so aggressive.
• Doing impulsive or stupid things is also common. Another similar scenario involves people becoming fixated on strange but almost normal ideas. e.g. "I just can't throw this out. I might need it later", seems to be a common picture of these Paill Spectrum affected people. Nutritional problems are likely to be more common in this group than average. Because these patients already have a symptom (erectile problems), they are more likely to have worse nutritional problems than average exacerbating their Paill Spectrum infection, than most other “normal” people.
